  1. On vehicle's with ABS; align the slot in the primary piston with the stop pin hole (A) by pushing the secondary piston (B) in and install the stop pin (C).

  1. Install the new grommets (D) on the reservoir union (E).
  2. Install the reservoir union to the master cylinder.
  3. Install the new circlip (A) while pushing in the secondary piston (B). Be careful not to scratched damage on the piston surface with the circlip edges.

  1. Adjust the pushrod clearance (see page 19-29).

  1. Connect the hoses (A) to the reservoir union (B) and reservoir (C) by aligning the marks (D) on the hose joints and marks (E) on the hoses as shown.

  1. Apply recommended seal grease in the master cylinder seal set to a new rod seal, and install the seal onto the master cylinder (dual brake booster type) or brake booster (single brake booster type) (see page 19-18).
