NOTE: Place the clutch housing on two pieces of wood thick enough to keep the mainshaft from hitting the workbench.
- Remove the detent bolts (A), springs, steel balls, back-up light switch (B) and transmission hanger (C).
- Remove the select lever assembly.

- Remove the shift lever assembly (A) and 8 x 10 mm dowel pins (B).
- Remove the drain plug (A), filler plug (B), vehicle speed sensor (VSS) (C) and O-ring (D).
