Disconnect the battery negative cable and wait for 3 minutes. Disconnect the D1o connector (A), P1o connector (B) and TL1o connector (C).

Disconnect the U1o connector (A) from the SRS unit (B). Check resistance between the No. 9 terminal and the No. 18 terminal of the U1o connector. There should be 2.0 - 3.0 ohm. U1o CONNECTOR Wire side of female terminals Is the resistance as specified? YES - Faulty SRS unit or poor contact at the U1o connector and the SRS unit. Check the connection between the U1o connector and the SRS unit. If the connection is OK, replace the SRS unit (see page 23-176). NO - Open or increased resistance in dashboard wire harness B; replace dashboard wire harness B.
