Disconnect shift solenoid valves A and B connector (2P). Check for continuity between PCM connector terminals C4 and A23 or A24. PCM CONNECTORS Wire side of female terminals Is there continuity? YES - Repair short to ground in the wire between PCM connector terminal C4 and the shift solenoid valve B. NO - Go to step 10.

Measure the resistance between the No. 2 terminal of the shift solenoid valves A and B connector and body ground. SHIFT SOLENOID VALVES A and B CONNECTOR (2P) Terminal side of male terminals Is there 12-25 ohm? YES - Check for an open in the wire between PCM connector terminal C4 and the shift solenoid valve B. NO - Replace the shift solenoid valves A and B.
